How do you treat sleep apnea?

A good night's sleep is crucial for people, yet many don't get the rest they need.

There are several options to treat OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) and prevent it from interrupting breathing and causing systemic health issues like obesity, high blood pressure, and death. CPAP therapy is the most common treatment for OSA, but not all patients can sleep with a mask.

After a sleep study, we can start talking about different forms of treatment. Some patients are unsure how to adjust their CPAP machines, while others cannot use it at all.

Let our Wamego dentists, Dr. Paul Harris, Dr. Andrea Harris, and Dr. Kyung Ha Kim know if you have difficulty wearing a CPAP machine or adjusting it.

Oral Appliances for Snoring

We design customized oral devices that can gently push the lower jaw forward, which opens the airways and prevents it from closing. These appliances are instrumental in letting our patients stop snoring and finally get the rest they deserve.

We provide many oral appliances to combat snoring and sleep apnea at our Wamego dentist office. Call us today to see if you are a good candidate for our devices.

We will work with our patients to make sure they don't continue to snore. Everyone deserves to be able to sleep restfully.
