Digital X-rays
Digital x-rays provide us with sharper, more precise diagnostic images with significantly reduced radiation exposure compared to conventional x-ray techniques.
Many patients are concerned about radiation exposure in digital x-rays, which we understand. We value our patient's comfort and safety, which is why we invest in advanced dental technology.
The exposure to radiation is minimal, and it is a valuable diagnostic tool, allowing our dentists to look inside your mouth in ways that aren't possible with a visual exam.
We can use the highly-detailed images to see gum disease or cavities, especially catching them early.
Your digital x-rays are stored in your patient records so we can easily share them with other providers or insurance companies.

Intraoral Cameras
We use intraoral cameras in all of our treatment rooms to help us communicate best with patients about their oral health.
Intraoral cameras allow us to involve our patients throughout the entire process, especially when diagnosing dental problems. Being able to see what the dentist sees gives patients the information they need to make decisions about their oral health.
Being able to see cavities or gum disease can have an impact on patients and their long-term oral care.
An intraoral camera is a small camera that we use to transfer images to a chairside monitor. The photos are clear, crisp, and precise. We can also magnify the images so that patients can see even tiny cavities.

Laser Dentistry
Laser dentistry allows our dentists to perform effective and comfortable dentistry at Wamego Dental Center. We use dental lasers to perform procedures such as frenectomies, cosmetic treatments, and tissue reshaping. The laser results in faster healing and little to no discomfort to the patient.
We can perform periodontal surgeries faster so that our patients are comfortable. Lasers do not require stitches and have faster healing times than traditional methods.

Digital Impressions
Digital Impressions use advanced technology to create a 3-D replica of the mouth. Our dentists can also recreate the soft and hard tissues in your mouth. We can use these digital scans to fabricate new dental crowns, bridges, and dental implants. Impression paste can be gooey and uncomfortable, and it can be imprecise, which can be harmful to your bridge or dental crown.
Our digital impressions allow us to create accurate and detailed images of your teeth and gums, which is invaluable when placing implants or a dental crown.
At Wamego Dental Center, we work hard to make your experience quick, efficient, and pain-free. We use dental technology to make precise fits and beautiful restorations.
